Role Overview
• Supports the venture platform and portfolio companies with creating content, driving social and digital marketing performance, analytics and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Business
Content Creation & Development
• Create and adapt high quality digital content for SC Ventures paltform (social posts, short-form copy, campaign assets including email content, basic visuals, videos etc) with input from our stakeholders
• Translate trending, relevant topics (per our high conviction themes) into clear, engaging content
• Run A/B tests on messaging, formats and creatives
Social Media Engagement
• Manage LinkedIn strategy including organic posts and paid campaigns
• Manage and optimize social media channels, primarily for the platform but support for the portfolio companies as they set up their proprietary social channels
• Own content calendars and publishing cadence
• Monitor trends and recommend content formats & new social platforms to increase reach and engagement
• Integrate with the bank’s social & content teams to help elevate and extend reach for SCV content including developing and supporting leadership posts to amplify key announcements and narratives
Processes
Performance Analytics and Reporting
• Track and analyze performance across campaigns, channels and ventures
• Build dashboards on key metrics (CTR, engagement, views, CPC etc)
• Generate actionable insights to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI
Marketing Tools & Infrastructure
• Support CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Hubspot etc)
• Ensure proper tracking, tagging and attribution across campaigns
Events
• Support end-to-end marketing for flagship events including pre-event targeted promotional materials, live coverage (video filming, live posts), support on-site execution, and post-event content development and amplification
Owned Channels and Internal Communications
• Manage and update SC Ventures website content to ensure accurate, timely and compelling representation of ventures, themes and announcements
• Coordinate internal communications (SC intranet) to drive awareness and engagement across the bank
• Support newsletter delivery as a key owned channel, including Adobe operations, distribution list management and performance analytics.
Risk Management
• Liaise with procurement, legal and compliance to ensure contracts, and content processes are aligned with corporate policies and compliance.
• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend ways to increase functional effectiveness and improve operational efficiencies
• Ensure adherence to the Risk Management Framework, Group Code of Conduct and various Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines of the Bank
• Ensure compliance with Third Party Risk Management, and Vendor Engagement and Sponsorship policies
• Ensure integrated marketing strategy complies with regional/local legal and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with the Media, Reputation & Issues team to mitigate any reputational risks possible from digital marketing campaigns, and community initiatives.
Governance
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the firm operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
• Ensure adherence to the Operational Risk Framework, Group Code of Conduct and various Policies, Procedures and Guidelines of the Bank by the regional Brand & Marketing teams
• Maintain high awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the business operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
• Completion of all mandatory training needed including e-learning within stated timeframes to support the understanding of the roles for delivering effective governance
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

Skills and Experience
• Digital, Social & Content Marketing
• Creation of high performing content
• Managing campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn, Google etc
• Basic video & content editing skills

• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain consistency across different stakeholders
• Exposure to agency and fast-paced environments, like start ups, is a plus
• Comfortable working with data and informing data-led decisions, as well as ROI evaluations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to execute campaigns end-to-end
• Good communications skills to work across platform and portfolio teams
Education Minimum of Degree or other advanced education.
