Job Summary

Looking for a DataStage Developer whose primary responsibility will be application development and production support. The candidate will be part of a team that works with Business Analysts, Operations, Quality Assurance Testers and other System Professionals. The candidate will also be responsible for trouble shooting and resolving support issues. 

Key Responsibilities

•    Should have 4+ experience in ETL tool DataStage 11x & above development.
•    Hands on experience in PL/SQL and Unix
•    Good knowledge in DevSecOps process, Jenkins configurations and Rundeck development and one touch deployment. 
•    Experience in various DevOps controls and its implementation. 
•    Experience in analytical, design, programming, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
•    Experience in providing status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
•    Hands-on experience in leading a team
•    Hands on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting, any ETL Tool is preferred  
•    Working Knowledge of data modeling concepts for both normalized OLTP systems and denormalized data warehouse.
•    Knowledge on DevOps tools GIT,Bitbucket,Jenkins and Run Deck is preferred
•    Familiarity with Agile approaches to development is a plus
•    Knowledge of cloud technologies is a plus.
•    Should be able to work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of managers 
•    Analytical, yet able to communicate well with others, both written and spoken

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
•    Strong 4+ years of experience required
•    Must have demonstrated experience in Oracle PL/SQL
•    working knowledge of Unix scripting
•    Strong experience in Application Development with knowledge of full software development life cycle
•    Experience with Java preferred and understanding of database deployment architectures
•    Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills
•    Must be able to manage priorities and handle simultaneous demands; willingness to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
•    IBM DataStage certification or similar
