JOB SUMMARY

Processing Support

  • Engagement in day-to-day Job processing in accordance with the Group guidelines and within risk parameters using standardised procedures and processes to ensure that the best practices are always adapted. 

Risk Management

  • Ensure Group Sanction policies have been strictly complied. Keep updated on sanction procedures as and when those are revised.
  • Ensure that the department gets an audit rating of at least “Improvement required “in all areas.
  • Ensure to be engaged in AML measures, ensure that staff receives required AML training, monitor suspicious transactions, and report it through the SAR/STR Process.

Sanction Screening

  • Ensure awareness in all relevant Group Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing Policy, Conduct, Financial Crime & Compliance (“CFCC”) Standards and the Group Sanctions Policy and Standards  

Service Quality

  • To provide high quality service to customers.
  • Maintain service standards and ensure that there is no deviation.

Systems

  • To be proficient in system.
  • To user-test all enhancements on the model system.

Information Technology

  • Work closely with IT dept in implementing new or improved software, automate manual processes.
  • Review system reports to manage access and usage risk.

Regulatory

  • Ensure compliance with the Laws of the land, implement and exercise local banking regulations in day-to-day Job.

Operational

  • To support to effort of re-engineering the current processes.
  • To provide quality services to customers

  • Responsible for working with the Bank to ensure a safe and Healthy workplace for all.

  • Ensure develop, promulgate, and maintain operating procedures impacting collections across the country.
  • Manage the audit & Risk control Standards associates with the operations.
  • Ensure to continuously monitor, manage, and deliver major improvements to all operational processes and support across SCB for the operations units with an aim to enhance customer service quality, achieve operational effectiveness, reduce operational risk, while attaining major reduction in the unit cost of operations.

Qualification

Knowledge & Skills

  • Understanding of Banking product, policies, Group guidelines and Central Bank guidelines.
  • Knowledge on Airlines and Shipping Remittance along with understanding of local regulations and regulatory reporting experience will be added advantage.
  • Self-motivated, unsupervised and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with MIS reporting with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.) 
  • Have good reasoning skills.
  • Have good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Education:
  • Having completed graduation from a reputed university (preferable in Business). Experience in relevant financial sector will be an added advantage.
