Title: Senior Manager, Product Support, FMO

Job Summary
• Jobholder works independently and reports to Head of Financial Market Operations, Bangladesh. This is a leadership role within FMO team and Job Holder is responsible for managing the Product Support unit within the department and ensuring all the regulatory reports from FMO are prepared and submitted in compliant manner including cater new reporting requirement in FMO also maintaining all the data/MIS related to FM. Ensure all the team members in Product Support unit are adequately motivated and delivered the result accordingly. Leads the FMO Investigations & Monitoring Nostro Reconciliation in FMO. As a Contract Owner maintain all the IGAs in a compliant manner ensuring SLAs are regularly maintained, renewed. Act as a Department Coordinator during disaster scenario and update all the BCP and BIA accordingly. Act as Visit Coordinator during regulatory inspections related to FMO. Represent FMO in NFRR and FRR forums. Lead the EOD rate upload process in Bangladesh.
Lead the Product Support Team in managing below functions of Financial Markets Operations
• MIS and Regulatory Reporting function
• Confirmation tracking, matching of FM transactions
• Maintain static data in FM TP systems for Bangladesh
• Manage and Supervise the M7 items and effectively managing the Operations Risks.
• Work proactively to complete the new regulatory obligations in FMO.
• Single Point of Contact for regulatory reporting unit in FMO and provide timely response to the regulators and other stakeholders. Act as a visit Co-Ordinator during regulatory inspections in FMO.
• Manage IGA/SLAs as a Contract Manager.
• Manage BCP as Disaster Recovery co-ordinator.
• Drive various group or country driven project in FMO.
Strategy
• Run the Product Support Team of Financial Market Operations Functions in Bangladesh in terms of Regulatory Reporting function in FMO ensuring preparation and timely submission of group, local & central bank reports, Perform Confirmation tracking, matching of FM transactions, Maintain static data in FM TP systems, Supervise and coordinating with BRM for managing operational risk control in FMO. Review and clear the M7 items.
Processes
• Ensure that operations people are properly following up KCS/CST requirements.
• Ensure that required records and details are maintained in daily KCS/CST according to group guidelines.
• Assist RP to perform KCSA/CST/KCI/KRI checks on regular basis, record findings and exceptions along with sighted supporting evidence.
• Prepare & submit daily Foreign Exchange position return to Central bank.
• Prepare & submit the weekly, monthly, half-yearly & yearly reports to Central Bank.
• Ensure maintenance of accurate static data in FM TP systems with the help of GBS team.
• Process Repo/RevRepo with Central Bank and other local banks.
• Perform required transactions in FMI (for new securities purchase, Repo/RevRepo).
• Ensure that required FMI transaction confirmations are sent & received.
• Daily verification of FMI balance and its corresponding account balance in GPTM.
• Ensure collecting and maintaining required customer documents (Contact list, Dealing Mandate)
• Communicate and consolidate cash denomination status received from branches.
• Monitor and Supervise Failed Trade Activities
• Supervise the Nostro Investigation Activities
• Conduct and/or supervise Sanction screening process of FMO.
• Matching confirmations (inward & outward) in Razor module and ensuring authenticity of authorized signature.
• Preparation and submission of monthly reports to regional office within the stipulated time.
• Updating Markets Operations database in share points in time.
• Provide local management teams with various necessary reports.
• Prepare and maintain different MIS database for the department.
• Collect and maintain updated authorized signatory list of customers.
• Collect SSI from counterparts and send request to GBS team for updating them accordingly in FM TP systems in Bangladesh.
• Calculate & convey the monthly CRR & SLR requirements to the ALM Dealers
• Provide dealers and FMO team with various statistical information, as and when required.
• Prepare and circulate the daily PAR Rates for revaluation.
Business
• Provide senior oversight and face off to senior stakeholders both internally and externally across BB officials, COO, Sales & Trading Business Leaders, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Operations
• Lead and represent Product Support team in FMO to enable the Bank to meet regulatory objectives and simplification targets.
• Drive global consistency and transparency by defining and maintaining a catalogue of services and capability matrix.
• Establish efficient BAU day-to-day operations and serve as point of escalation for FMO/BCS stakeholders internally and externally.
• Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Markets businesses operates.
• Drive new business initiatives to aid revenue and growth priorities. Promote controlled growth through enabling efficient processes and effective controls
Risk Management
• Define strategy for processes and technology needed to aid risk identification, assessment, remediation, and on-going monitoring.
• Regular review of the control framework to progress towards a preventative, and automated control landscape.
• Own, drive, and / or participate in remediation programs to mitigate risk to the business.
• Develop and maintain documentation that will provide minimum standards and guidance for all processes in BCS.
• Ensure adherence to the Enterprise Risk and Operational Risk Frameworks
People & Talent
• Supervise the Product Support Team in FMO on their BAU Activities.
• Manage team talents to achieve strategic goals through engaging them through in the job learning, formal & Informal trainings and succession planning.
Governance
• Embed strong & effective governance principles across the FMO under BCS organisation.
• Develop metrics to monitor business processes, and to supply indicators of risk and performance.
• Produce effective supervision guidelines and embed into BAU across all Markets business lines supported by BCS.

• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, Fixed Income, derivatives (flow and structured), financing products and understanding of products front to back operation process.

Qualifications
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of banking industry experience
• Strong knowledge of financial markets (FX, Money Markets, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Financing products) and end-to-end operations
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in Power BI and Tableau
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Adaptable, resilient, and innovative with the ability to thrive in dynamic environments
