We are looking for Director, Corporate Sales Germany – Inbound to execute our Global Transaction Banking (TB) Sales strategy across a portfolio of large, sophisticated corporate clients. This is a senior individual contributor role for a commercially driven professional who thrives on building deep client relationships, unlocking new-to-bank opportunities, and delivering sustainable revenue growth across Europe.
You will work at the intersection of global, regional, and local buying centres, partnering closely with Global Banking to position the bank’s full Transaction Banking capabilities—cash, liquidity, trade, and transactional FX—at the heart of clients’ treasury strategies.
Job Summary
As Director, Corporate Sales Germany – Inbound, you will be responsible for end-to-end Transaction Banking sales coverage of a portfolio of large corporates with regional treasury centres across Europe. Your mandate is to drive new-to-bank revenues, deepen product and market penetration, and convert opportunities into realised revenues through disciplined execution and strong stakeholder engagement.
You will act as a trusted advisor to client treasury teams, leveraging a deep understanding of their business models, footprints, and decision-making structures to deliver tailored, value-adding solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the Global Transaction Banking Sales strategy for an assigned portfolio of large corporate clients.
- Transaction Banking Sales coverage of a portfolio of key regional treasury centres for large corporate clients across Europe
- Provide TB sales coverage to key regional treasury centres across Europe, with a focus on inbound business to Germany.
- Drive new-to-bank revenue growth and increase product and market penetration at global, regional, and local buying centres.
- Lead client engagements end-to-end: identifying explicit and implied needs, engaging decision-makers, structuring solutions, and delivering compelling proposals and pitches.
- Originate and develop cash management, liquidity, trade, and transactional FX solutions aligned to client treasury priorities.
- Own subsidiary-level revenues across cash, trade, and transactional FX.
- Develop a deep understanding of client businesses, including operating models, footprints, buying centres, and governance structures.
- Build strong access to treasury and ecosystem decision-makers through proactive and strategic client calling.
- Partner with Global Banking colleagues to break into new relationships through active marketing of the bank’s strengths and capabilities.
- Collaborate with Transactional Sales and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely revenue delivery.

Experience & Profile
- Proven experience in Transaction Banking sales covering large corporate clients.
- Strong understanding of European treasury structures, regional treasury centres, and cross-border cash and liquidity solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to originate, structure, and execute complex TB solutions across multiple geographies.
- Commercially astute, outcome-focused, and confident engaging with senior treasury and finance stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills with Global Banking, product partners, and internal control functions.
