Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    We expect the hire to be a core supporting member of Markets Singapore Corporate Sales Team –Specifically, this role is to help service clients in their needs for Markets solutions across asset classes such as FX, Interest Rates and Commodities, with focus on servicing Local Corporates in Singapore. 
•    The candidate is expected to originate deals in Structured FX Options, Investments & Structured funding/lending solutions
•    Knowledge in Markets products and prior exposure to banking is required
•    This role will entail servicing of clients who are present in our network, by often coordinating with the other local internal stakeholders. Given Markets regulations and landscape differ from country to country, this role will also benefit in terms building network knowledge and relevant marketing skills operating in the wider ASEAN region.

Key Responsibilities

 Client Coverage & Revenue Origination
•    Own and grow a portfolio of Singapore corporates, acting as primary markets advisor
•    Drive revenue generation across FX, investment, and hedging products
•    Identify and originate new business opportunities through proactive client engagement and market insights

 Advisory & Solution Delivery
•    Understand clients’ FX exposures, liquidity position, and risk objectives
•    Design and deliver tailored hedging and investment strategies (FX spot, forwards, options, structured solutions) 
•    Provide market insights, trade ideas, and strategic advisory to support client decision-making

Product Sales & Execution
•    Market and execute a full suite of products: 
o    FX (spot, forwards, swaps, options)
o    Structured investments / yield solutions
•    Manage trade lifecycle (pricing, execution, post-trade coordination) with trading and operations teams

 Client Relationship Management
•    Build and maintain senior-level relationships (CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Directors)
•    Deepen wallet share via cross-sell across FX, investments, and other banking products
•    Position the bank as a trusted advisor for treasury and risk management decisions

 Business Development & Market Expansion
•    Prospect and onboard new corporate clients across Singapore
•    Develop and execute strategies to grow market share and client penetration 
•    Maintain strong awareness of market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments

•    Set good example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations amongst colleagues and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
•    Ensure active communication of vision, priorities and progress to the business to foster engagement, awareness and motivation.

Our Ideal Candidate

•    Education - Minimum a Bachelor and/or master’s degree in Business Management, Banking or Finance    
•    Licenses - Licences and Certification/accreditations, i.e., internal/Externally required    
•    10+  years of relevant Financial Markets/ Financial Markets both Corporates and FI sales experience ideally in the international/regional environment preferably with an excellent understanding of the market competitive landscape
•    Strong knowledge of legal, economic and regulatory environment as well as other key trading corridors
