Key Responsibilities
Strategy*
- Support LAF and Private Credit strategy with value-added input.
- Ensure transactions align with the strategy.
Business*
- Assist in opportunity identification, origination and execution of transactions.
- Prepare financing proposals, market updates and marketing materials for clients.
- Enhance SCB’s market presence in the region
- Prepare and present information memoranda, financial model and BCAs
- Conduct due diligence, liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- Lead/ manage transactions independently
Processes*
- Manage business and risk management process
- Act as the first line of defence in Compliance with regards to deal execution
- Support origination with client coverage teams
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders
People & Talent*
- Lead by example, fostering the right culture and values
Risk Management*
- Ensure compliance with Portfolio Underwriting Standards and PPGs
- Advise and monitor all major risk issues ,escalating as needed.
Governance*
- Understand the regulatory framework and requirements.
- Ensure disciplined risk-taking.
Regulatory & Business Conduct*
- Uphold the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and guidelines.
- Identify, escalate and resolve risk and compliance matters.
