Job Summary
The Analyst, RMBI Content and Enablement will be responsible for developing high-quality RMBI content, thought leadership, client materials and internal enablement programmes to support Standard Chartered’s pan-Bank RMB commercialisation agenda. The role will translate RMBI strategy, market developments, regulatory themes and client use cases into practical, reusable materials that help Coverage, Product, WRB and RMBI Champions engage clients and execute RMBI opportunities across the Bank’s network.
The role sits at the intersection of content creation, commercial enablement and ecosystem mobilisation. It is expected to strengthen RMBI knowledge across the Bank, support client and senior stakeholder engagement, and help position Standard Chartered as an industry leader in RMBI through disciplined, consistent and insight-led communication.
Key Responsibilities
RMBI Content Strategy and Development
• Develop and maintain a consistent RMBI content agenda aligned to the Bank’s pan-Bank RMBI strategy, priority markets, client segments, product opportunities and use cases.
• Produce high-quality internal and external materials including client pitch content, market updates, RMBI playbooks, training packs, thought leadership, newsletters, spotlight materials, case studies and senior management updates.
• Translate regulatory developments, China financial market opening measures and market trends into clear, client-relevant and commercially actionable insights.
• Create reusable content assets that support RMBI Engagement teams, RMBI Champions, Coverage, Product and WRB stakeholders in client conversations and pipeline conversion.
• Maintain content quality, version control and consistency of RMBI messaging across internal and external channels.
Enablement and Capability Uplift
• Design and deliver RMBI awareness and capability uplift initiatives, including internal teach-ins, training sessions, champion toolkits and business-specific enablement materials.
• Equip RMBI Champions with practical content, talking points, product narratives and use-case guidance to help drive RMB commercialisation in their respective client segments, products and markets.
• Support onboarding and ongoing engagement of new RMBI Champions, ensuring they understand RMBI priorities, KPIs, operating cadence and available enablement tools.
• Develop training content that helps frontline and product teams understand RMBI opportunities beyond trade and settlement, including hedging, investment, financing and wealth-related use cases.
• Track training uptake, feedback and content usage to continuously improve enablement effectiveness.
Client and Business Engagement Support
• Support CIB teams in preparing compelling, tailored RMBI materials for client meetings, seminars, workshops, webinars and strategic campaigns.
• Partner with Coverage, Product and RMBI Engagement colleagues to identify client pain points and convert them into relevant RMB solution narratives and use cases.
• Provide content and research support for product taskforces, corridor initiatives and strategic RMBI opportunities across the Bank’s network.
• Help package successful RMBI deals, use cases and market initiatives into referenceable case studies and proof points for broader commercialisation.
Thought Leadership and Market Positioning
• Work with Research, CABM, Regulatory & Public Affairs and business stakeholders to develop RMBI thought leadership and market-facing content.
• Support external positioning of Standard Chartered as an RMBI leader through coordinated publications, industry engagement materials, award submissions and media-ready narratives.
• Monitor market, regulatory and industry developments relevant to RMBI and maintain a structured content calendar to support timely internal and external communications.
• Ensure external content is aligned with approved messaging, compliance standards and applicable internal review and approval processes.
Governance, Processes and Risk Management
• Work closely with RMBI Strategy & Governance to ensure content and enablement activities support agreed RMBI priorities, initiatives and KPIs.
• Maintain disciplined planning and tracking of the RMBI content and enablement pipeline, including deliverables, stakeholders, target audiences and usage outcomes.
• Collaborate with CFCR, Legal, Risk, CABM and other control functions to ensure content is accurate, balanced and consistent with regulatory and conduct expectations.
• Proactively identify, escalate and help resolve risks, issues or dependencies related to RMBI content, external communication or enablement delivery.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business, Communications or related discipline preferred.
