Job Responsibilities

•    Responsible for articulating the product strategy and executing product initiatives in the country for the product in conjunction with the Country Trade Product Head.
•    Working with sales to understand customer needs and develop the client value propositions that will address them across client segments
•    Responsible for the trade product and working capital P&L within the country including responsibility over pricing, cost budget and management of assets, contingents for the assigned trade products.
•    Work with the Country TB and Trade Product Head for the management of the country CAs.
•    Determine standard product pricing for the product line.  
•    Develop jointly with the Sales team a local strategy to meet country objectives, in line with the overall Transaction Banking strategy
•    Drive end to end product performance, improving efficiency through the digital agenda, straight through processing, ensuring scalability to grow
•    Support launches of product enhancements, new products/variations, trade digitalization initiatives as required for Trade. Work jointly with Sales to improve product offerings resulting in increased revenue and utilization, improve efficiency and reduce cost. 
•    Ongoing review of product offerings across the country to ensure fit for purpose.  Conduct product training across segments for sales (RMs/CMs/Trade Sales) and other stakeholders (CSG/Trade Ops/Trade IM, VMT).   
•    Responsible for commercialization of new product capabilities by ensuring commercialization plans, targets and infrastructure to maximize success for it launch
•    Understand the needs of customers and prospects, and implement structures and solutions to meet these needs ensuring delivery of Trade.
•    Provide ongoing support and training to Trade Sales, CMs, & RMs to provide assistance to facilitate the closure of large or complex deals.
•    For the trade products assigned, improve processes for better customer experience resulting in growth in trade revenue in line with the Hong Kong CAs and PPG.
•    Ensure all assigned product initiatives are closed within the agreed timeline.

Job Requirements

•    University Graduate
•    Good command in English and Chinese
•    Minimum 5-10 years' relevant banking experience, preferably in corporate banking segment.
•    Experience in trade product development and management. 
•    Strong credit knowledge (including country risk and risk processes).
•    Experience in business case analysis.
•    Good understanding of the banking systems and operations.
•    Sound knowledge in banking products, banking practices and regulations.
•    Solid Supply Chain Finance, Documentary Trade and Receivable Management product knowledge.
•    Sound Credit Insurance knowledge.
•    Strong IT knowledge with experience in e-commerce and trade technology projects.
•    Strong analytical skills; creative and strategic thinker.
•    Good project management and presentation skills
•    Strong leadership skills and management discipline.
•    Good interpersonal skills
•    Good communication skills (written and verbal)
