Job Description: 

Job Summary

The Office Manager – CEO Office provides executive, administrative, and business coordination support to the CEO, ensuring effective management of priorities, smooth day-to-day operations, and support for strategic and governance activities. The role supports leadership meetings, business planning, stakeholder coordination, internal events, and office governance processes, while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and alignment with internal policies and standards.

Strategy
•    Assist the CEO with the formulation of the country business strategy, ensuring alignment across functions, products, and stakeholders. 
•    Support strategic planning initiatives, management reporting, and business coordination activities within the CEO Office.

Business
•    Provide administrative and executive support to the CEO including calendar management, travel coordination, meeting scheduling, and correspondence management. 
•    Coordinate internal meetings, leadership engagements, and country-level initiatives.
•    Support preparation of presentations, meeting materials, and business updates. 
•    Act as a point of contact between senior management and internal stakeholders to facilitate communication and coordination. 

Processes
•    Manage Country Leadership Team (CLT) meetings including agenda preparation, coordination of materials, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items.
•    Coordinate operational processes including procurement requests, vendor coordination, expense submissions, and activities within the CEO office in line with the internal policies and procedures.
•    Support maintenance of governance records, trackers, and internal documentation. 
•    Coordinate and oversee the planning and delivery of country-level internal events, leadership engagements, and business initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities

People & Talent
•    Support collaboration across business and functional teams.
•    Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across business and functional teams.
•    Support team coordination and communication activities where required.

Risk Management
•    Support adherence to internal policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
•    Act as Conduct Champion for Qatar through attending monthly meetings with the Regional Conduct team and supporting coordination of Conduct Risk related activities and governance requirements. 
•    Act as Champion for Operational Continuity (OCiR) activities and follow-up actions where required.

Governance
•    Act as country coordinator for Power of Attorney (PoA) processes, ensuring proper documentation and stakeholder coordination.
•    Support governance activities through coordination of management meetings, action tracking, and follow-up activities. 
•    Maintain governance records, meeting minutes, action trackers, and internal documentation. 
•    Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information within the CEO Office. 

Regulatory & Business Conduct
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualifications

Education     Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Professional Experience  
Training     Training in Business Administration, Stakeholder Management, or Executive Support Preferred
Certifications     Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency Preferred 
Languages     English, Arabic
