Title: Assistant Manager - Loan/Lending Operations (UAE nationals)

Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Loan/Lending operations represents the Operational role in retail lending business as an operations staff to carry out activities in executing Mortgage, Auto, Personal and Wealth management lending products in line with banks laid down processors. Role further ensures that operational risks are managed effectively. The person is to focus specifically on execution controls, governance, and supervision end to end.
Key Responsibilities
• Mortgage Liaison activities including visits to Government Registration Offices and other Banks within UAE.
• Follow-up with the relevant authorities on the collateral documents including visits to Government Registration Offices, DLD (Dubai Land department), for collection of documents across UAE.
• Securing Documentation handling and management.
• Letter/ Client Communication issuance.
• Cheque banking for process fee, valuation fee, PDCs etc.
• Maintenance activities.
• Report monitoring.
• Complaint monitoring.
• Custodianship activities.
• Checking and updating of Mortgage loan/ finance securing documentation into the eSDS (Securing Documentation System)
• Preparation of securing documentation dockets and settlement documentation along with custodianship activities.
• Preparation of securing documentation tracker and title deed MIS.
Skills and Experience
• Solid knowledge of Retail Banking products and operations of branch and other distribution channels .
• Clear understanding of the Bank’s Operational Risk Framework or equivalent experience gained in other organisations.
• Demonstrated history of applying sound judgement with critical thinking skills and ability necessary to perform a control role and maintain effective working relationships
• Ability to independently drive initiatives with minimum hands-on supervision
Qualifications
• Minimum Bachelors degree
