Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated MENA FX Market Maker to join the trading desk in Dubai.This will be an at Analyst/ Associate level based on the candidate skill set
- Contribute to the MENA FX Team profitability.
- Trade & risk manage a portfolio of MENA FX, Spot & Forward
- Manage a portfolio of peripheral currencies
- Interact and communicate regularly with Sales, Treasury Markets, Traders & other support functions to resolve issues/grow the business
Strategy
- Work within the FX Trading MENA team to support the business and identify the initiatives to grow the franchise in MENA as required
Business
- Implementation of FX Trading MENA specific strategies to ensure that performance objectives and financial objectives are me
- Manage Funding and Nostros
- Build stronger and deeper relationships with Sales to offer clients better products and services
- Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates
- Communicate and articulate ideas and to articulate market views and translate into trading strategies
- Improve knowledge on related financial markets/products
Processes
• Resolve settlement issues, check limits, etc
• Analyse P&L on a daily basis. Keep management informed of P&L, risk, flows, issues

Skills and Experience
- Trading or market making experience in Banking (FICC products).
- Strong understanding of Spot and forward markets
- Strong Mathmatical Skills
- CFA Level 1 Qualification or equivalent

• Languages English, Arabic (Preferred)
