Job Summary

This is a Financial Markets Sales role covering Financial Institution clients in MENAP & Turkey focusing on Flow Credit Products.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for originating, marketing, and executing credit flow products (IG/HY bonds, emerging market credit, convertible bonds, etc.) to Financial Institution clients.
  • Support existing institutional client relationships and develop strategies to deepen engagement across Flow Credit products.
  • Experience and ability to bring or build deep senior level client relationships
  • Understand client strategies, objectives, and risk appetite to propose relevant product solutions

 

Business

  • Diligent coverage of the daily flow business meeting all required standards and procedures. Respond to requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Understand clients’ needs and work with key stakeholders to achieve the assigned budget from allocated clients (subject to change) and build market share.
  • Emphasis on proactive engagement with clients and timely delivery of relevant market intelligence.
  • Actively engage with Trading to facilitate optimum coverage
  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the firm operates 

Processes

  • Engage with Clients and execute trades and orders in line with Standard Chartered policy and procedures consistent with all FM Sales, including Best Execution and Order Handling.
  • Ensure appropriate frameworks and operational infrastructures are in place to enable the business processed to be efficient, appropriate and compliant with internal policies, procedures, codes and applicable external regulations.
  • Take relationship responsibility for key clients. This might require liaison with Relationship Managers and Standard Chartered product specialists in all regions in which clients are active, to help build the global franchise with dedicated coverage accounts.
  • Maintain an updated account plan for Fixed Income products for key clients. Use to identify potential relationship growth areas and create action plans to address opportunities accordingly.
  • Take ownership of all aspects of service delivery to clients, including support functions such as operations.
  • Assist in setting up adequate infrastructure to facilitate dealing (DEVA, PPG, CA monitoring).
