Job Summary

The Director will be responsible for establishing a strategy on selected client portfolio and deepen the relationship, revenues across different products with a targeted strategy aligned with the broader Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Investor strategy globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive assistance to the Senior Banker/Banker with support on new business origination activities i.e. client research, pitch books, industry leads etc; including coordination with network and product.
  • Support the vision and growth aspirations for the CIB business, Investors coverage regionally in MENA.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the client strategy for the designated portfolio as identified through the Account Planning process.
  • Accountability for delivering financial performance objectives (revenues, profitability, diversity and quality of client income, etc.)
  • Accountability for all other objectives for the management and development of client relationships, specifically compliance and credit risk.
  • The individual is responsible for Account Plans, establishing and maintaining an end-to-end understanding of the client group structure and client needs and steering the client relationship.
  • Define and agree the relationship strategy for the client and drive the global execution.
  • Identifies and acts on opportunities to create new partnerships by working closely with the coverage team and product partners to ensure execution and delivery of Account plans.
  • Focusing on growing target / prospect investor clients in the region

Qualifications

 

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Economics, Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • Risk & AML certified as stipulated by Bank policy.
  • Languages – Fluent in English & Arabic
