Job Summary
The role has regional accountability for driving the strategy, development and performance of Cash, Clearing and Paytech products across the Middle East and Africa, with a primary focus on cross‑border payment flows as Financial Institution (FI) and Paytech client segments. It owns the end‑to‑end product agenda across payments, and transactional FX and correspondent banking, ensuring scalable, compliant and commercially competitive solutions aligned to global standards.
The role leads the origination and execution of cross‑border flow initiatives, including traditional correspondent banking, SWIFT‑based payments and emerging digital payment rails, translating client and market requirements into differentiated value propositions. It acts as the senior product interface for FI, Paytech and Corporate clients, partnering closely with Sales and Coverage teams to support complex client engagements, enable deal structuring and accelerate revenue and balance‑sheet growth.
As a senior Transaction Banking product leader, the role champions investment cases, drives disciplined commercialization, and ensures strong governance, risk and regulatory outcomes across markets. It works in close partnership with Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Legal to protect the franchise, enhance resilience and deliver sustainable growth, while representing the Bank with key clients, industry bodies and regulators and exemplifying the Group’s leadership and conduct expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Build Products
- Manage cash products including changes, enhancements and replacement, throughout their development life cycle.
- Markets in scope: Primary FI and Paytech growth will be in UAE and Saudi, Role encompasses FI across MEA (Middle East and Africa) ,
- PrismFX growth will be across FI, Paytech and Corporate
- Manage Cross border product and potential the usage of digital assets to facilitate cross border payments and in general digital assets in Payments area.
- To identify and translate market opportunities into enhancement of existing products, in order to generate a profitable business. Includes demonstration of business cases for products, defining features and functionality, P&L projections, and changes required to internal operations and delivery.
- Monitor overall service standards, maintain good relationship to ensure that quality of service to customers remains superior to competition.
- Develop strategies / tactics to gain market share and grow liabilities through new products and existing services.
- Driving launches of product enhancements, new products, as required for Cash. Work jointly with Sales and Marketing to develop collaterals for local market, communicate product launches, organize customer events and develop a sales campaign strategy to ensure that the new products meet planned volume and revenue targets
Connectivity
- Increase client penetration and revenues for the bank by actively building on the bank’s product capabilities
- Plan client events and product launches in conjunction with TB Sales, to ensure that planned revenue and volume targets are met.
Revenue & Drivers
- Complete ownership of client level revenue for cash, including Fees and Volume growth and anciliary balance sheet drivers (liabilities)
- Identify new revenue streams and ideate alternate solutions to uplift overall client and portfolio returns.
- Monitor revenue performance against budget and forecasts. Report critical information on product performance along with replication ideas and/or remedial action.
Skills and Experience
- Proven expertise in Cash Management, with a deep understanding of product lifecycle management and market positioning.
- Working knowledge of back office systems architecture enabling alignment between product development and operational execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders including clients, sales teams, and regulatory bodies.
- Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to anticipate market trends and proactively innovate.
- Highly organized and adept at managing multiple initiatives concurrently while meeting deadlines.
