Title: Head of Dealing & Advisory, UAE & EMEA

Job Summary
- To lead the Dealing and Advisory proposition to private bank and retail bank across FX, FI and Structured Solutions teams.
- To be responsible for meeting the budgets and to ensure all desks run in compliance with the applicable internal policies.
- Responsible to liaise with and support the Private Bank and the Retail Bank businesses with focus on both current business initiatives and product development.
- The incumbent is expected to create synergies and develop relationships with the Private Bank Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors and Retail Bank TS and to identify potential DACS prospects and propose initiatives for client acquisition.
- Responsible for product and trade ideation and the delivery of these ideas to the segment (across presentation, training, emails, and client friendly materials)
- A high standard of sales service is required with the responsibility to drive the business, broaden and enhance the business scope with a broad range of product classes to the expanding client base.
- Strategizes and drives value proposition for revenue acquisition.
- Promotes products to the Private Bank and Retail Bank Management, the Relationship Managers, and the Global network.
- Drives client acquisition initiatives. Work closely with the Private Bank Relationship Managers in clients’ prospecting,
- Promotes sales of a wide spectrum of product classes.
- Explores products, people, and systems development to enhance the business.
- Strict adherence to the SCB’s market risk procedures and its policies.
Qualifications
• A degree in finance or a technical field is preferred
• CMFAS Qualifications preferred, Paper 1A, 5, 6, 6A, 8, 8A as well as CACS
• In-depth knowledge of the FX business and its practices and processes, strong selling skills & the ability to build and grow the existing client base.
• Ability to maintain a “best in class” level of client service, and to coordinate sales activities with internal and external clients.
• Strong personal skills that foster client (both internal and external) interaction.
• Ability to build solid client-based revenues.
• Ability to grow client revenues and sell range of product classes.
• Ability to achieve financial targets and ensure regulatory & internal governance.
