Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    The Investment Operator will play a leading role in sourcing, evaluating, executing and managing venture investments across the digital assets ecosystem. The role combines investment execution, portfolio management, ecosystem development and stakeholder engagement responsibilities.
•    Working closely with the Head of Digital Assets Investments, the Investment Operator will originate investment opportunities, lead due diligence efforts, coordinate transaction execution, support portfolio value creation initiatives and contribute to fundraising and ecosystem expansion activities while integrating the best AI practices.
•    The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate strong commercial judgement, analytical rigor, relationship management capabilities and a passion for innovation across blockchain, digital assets, fintech and emerging technologies.

Business
Deal Sourcing & Ecosystem Coverage
•    Lead sourcing activities across founders, venture funds, incubators, accelerators and strategic partners.
•    Develop and maintain a high-quality network within the global digital asset ecosystem.
•    Build relationships with entrepreneurs, investors and strategic stakeholders.

Due Diligence & Investment Evaluation
•    Lead investment assessments and due diligence workstreams.
•    Evaluate business models, management teams, market opportunities and competitive positioning.
•    Assess token economics, governance frameworks and network incentives where applicable.
•    Coordinate internal and external subject matter experts during diligence processes.

Key Responsibilities

Valuation, Structuring & Execution
•    Lead financial modelling and valuation analyses.
•    Evaluate investment structures including equity, SAFE, convertible instruments and token-based transactions.
•    Support negotiation of commercial terms and investment documentation.
•    Coordinate transaction execution and closing activities.

Investment Committee & Governance
•    Prepare investment committee memoranda and supporting analyses.
•    Present investment recommendations to decision-makers ahead of Investment Committee.
•    Ensure investment proposals comply with governance and approval requirements.

Portfolio Management & Value Creation
•    Monitor portfolio company performance and key operating metrics.
•    Support strategic initiatives, fundraising efforts and partnership opportunities within portfolio companies.
•    Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across the portfolio.
•    Assist in preparation of portfolio reviews and reporting materials.

LP Relations & Fundraising
•    Support fundraising initiatives and investor engagement activities.
•    Participate in LP meetings, due diligence discussions and reporting processes.
•    Contribute to preparation of investor presentations and performance updates.

Strategy
•    Contribute to development and execution of the Fund's investment strategy.
•    Support portfolio construction decisions across sectors, stages and geographies.
•    Identify emerging market trends, technologies and investment themes.
•    Develop and maintain investment theses within digital assets, blockchain infrastructure and fintech.
•    Contribute to long-term fund development and ecosystem expansion initiatives.

Governance
•    Adhere to all applicable governance frameworks, approval authorities and internal policies.
•    Ensure investment recommendations are supported by robust analysis and documentation.
•    Support audit, compliance and regulatory review requirements as required.

Skills and Experience

Must Have
•    6+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, growth investing, corporate venture capital or investment banking.
•    Experience investing in blockchain, digital assets, fintech or emerging technologies.
•    Understanding of token economics and decentralized business models.
•    Strong transaction execution experience.
•    Excellent financial modelling and valuation capabilities (both equity and token).
•    Experience conducting commercial and financial due diligence.
•    Strong communication and presentation skills.
•    Ability to independently manage multiple investment opportunities simultaneously.
Preferred
•    Experience supporting fundraising and LP management initiatives.
•    Experience working with founders, venture-backed companies and other VCs.
•    Existing network across digital asset founders, investors and ecosystem participants.
•    Experience across Asia, US and global venture ecosystems.
Nice to Have
•    Exposure to board, portfolio management or value creation activities.
•    Prior operating experience within a high-growth technology company.
•    Experience using AI-enabled research, sourcing or investment platforms and programming language skills (Python, Agentic AI).

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
•    MBA, CFA, CAIA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
•    Demonstrated interest in technology, digital assets and venture investing.
