Job Description: 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the delivery and implementation of Transaction Banking solutions, ensuring clients receive exceptional service from onboarding through to ongoing support. This role is responsible for leading implementation and client service teams, managing complex client engagements, driving digital integration initiatives, resolving escalations, and enhancing the overall client experience.

 

The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions, accelerate revenue realization, strengthen client relationships, and drive operational excellence across multiple markets.

Strategy

  • Lead the Transaction Banking Implementation and Cash Client Service strategy within the assigned country or cluster.
  • Align implementation and service activities with broader Transaction Banking business objectives.
  • Drive client-centric solutions and service models that support different client segments.
  • Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, including Treasury and Finance leaders.
  • Support strategic client engagements, industry forums, and business development initiatives.
  • Champion service innovation, process enhancement, and sustainable business practices.

Business

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes and enhance the client experience.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for critical client implementation and service issues.
  • Improve implementation efficiency, service quality, and revenue retention.
  • Optimize operating models, team capacity, productivity, and resource planning.
  • Support succession planning, talent development, and effective cost management.
  • Represent the function in leadership forums and promote the value delivered by the implementation team.

Processes

  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for Transaction Banking solutions, including onboarding, testing, training, system integration, and service transition.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Technology, Operations, and other stakeholders to design and deliver client solutions.
  • Ensure effective project management practices, accurate reporting, and timely execution of key client initiatives.
  • Support Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) processes by providing implementation expertise.
  • Use client feedback, reporting tools, and service reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage emerging technologies, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and digital ecosystem partnerships to enhance implementation and service delivery.

  • Ensure implementation governance processes and controls are executed effectively.
  • Participate in governance forums and support business control enhancements.
  • Promote a strong culture of accountability, compliance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in banking, financial services, or a related industry.
  • Extensive experience leading client implementation, onboarding, or transaction banking delivery teams.
  • Strong project and programme management expertise.
  • Deep knowledge of Transaction Banking products, digital channels, technology integration, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
  • Demonstrated success in managing large, complex, and cross-border client implementations.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing teams across multiple countries and locations.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
