Title: Lead Practitioner, People Capability (UAE nationals preferred)

Job Summary
The role holder will be responsible for the design of contemporary and impactful learning interventions globally. In this capacity, the role holder supports, adapts and enhances new work standards, processes and practices of the Discipline. Role holder must lead by example in sharing expertise and advice on transferring ideas and insights regarding their Discipline into improving the productivity and performance of the squads.
The role holder spends majority of their time supporting the localisation agenda in the Middle East and the remaining time within a squad contributing as a squad member from the Creative and Delivery Discipline for large scale and complex projects as prescribed by the Hive.
Key Responsibilities
- The role holder will also provide Learning and Upskilling support across the bank and, in particular for local regulatory requirements, ensuring appropriate readiness for audit and compliance reviews and to ensure the Bank meets all requirements for learning in the Emiratisation programme.
- Role holder will work with their Hub Leads, and across the People Capability (PC) chain to ensure that local regulatory / compliance learning and competency requirements are clearly managed, ideally by leveraging global solutions as much as possible.
- Engage business/functions in country to understand the business needs and match these with People Capability interventions or where not present this up the People Capability Management Team (PCMT) chain for reviews and engagement with the global business/function.
- Promotes the development and elevation of the Creative and Delivery Discipline by managing risks, meeting governance requirements and quality assurance for the Disciplines.
- Leads and facilitates interaction and knowledge sharing processes among Creative and Delivery Discipline practitioners.
- The role requires someone who can empower Discipline practitioners, bringing energy and drive to motivate and inspire teams. The role holder should also be willing to bring in external/ new thought leadership, emerging best practices and innovations, story-telling and creative techniques to actively upskill the Discipline practitioners on.
- The role holder ensures the provision of ongoing people upskilling and colleagues are suitably skilled to deliver on the current job as well as build skills for the future.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Advise and design annual learning plan for UAE Nationals
- Advise and design sub learning plans for targeted populations such as (succession planning, growth planning, Top talent, Emirati women etc)
- Track completion /uptake of the Emiratization learning initiatives records for BRF reporting.
- Partner/collaborate with EIF for certifications, offerings, Design and development of bespoke learning interventions.
- Plan and implement UAE National specific events (Emirati women’s day and Eid Al Etihad (national day celebrations)
- Submission of training planning as aligned to Emiratization standards.

Qualifications
- Education - B.sc or first degree in a relevant field
- Languages - English, Arabic would be an added advantage
