  • Track key risk indicators (KRIs), emerging risk trends, incidents, and evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls to ensure timely risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate proactively with business units and functional teams to enhance risk awareness, strengthen control environments, and embed risk considerations into operational processes.
  • Assist in conducting thorough risk and control assessments, following up on remediation plans and ensuring corrective actions are implemented efficiently.
  • Participate actively in incident management processes, including root cause analysis, assessment of operational impact, and incorporation of lessons learned into risk frameworks.

  • Engage in continuous improvements of the operational risk framework, policies, and control standards to adapt to evolving business and regulatory landscapes.
  • Contribute to risk reviews and assurance activities, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Leverage risk analytics and scenario analysis techniques to detect emerging threats and advise on strategic risk responses.
  • Support cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing operational resilience and governance practices throughout the organisation.
  • Foster a culture of strong risk governance by engaging with stakeholders to promote effective communication, training, and adherence to risk policies.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear articulation of risk findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships, build trust, and work collaboratively across functions in a multicultural environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
  • Capability to adapt to evolving priorities, showing resilience and flexibility in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Experience or familiarity with operational risk management frameworks, risk assessment tools, or regulatory requirements is advantageous.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in risk management and related fields.
