Job Summary

Standard Chartered Bank is seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Support Manager. With the announcement of Strategic projects, including divestment planned across various location the Project PMO role will support these initiatives and other related activities to ensure the successful delivery of the programme. This role will work closely with the overall Programme Manager and stakeholders from Wealth and Retail Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking and Functions to deliver the desired outcomes. The role is linked to the successful execution migration activities to buyers, including support due diligence in the announced locations.  

Key Responsibilities

•    Work closely with the Project and involved in the project execution to ensure that the cut-over objectives related to business divestment, seamless client migrations and delivering if historical data are met.
•    Coordinate and work with the Project and Technology leads to support the delivery of the Project plan in a safe and well-controlled manner and on an end-to-end basis.
•    Support the safe transmission of clients and sensitive data and ensures that this satisfies the needs of the migration process and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
•    Collaborates with Program Owner and Product Owners to re-plan and prioritize Initiatives based on business value and assess impact on cost and benefit. 
•    Transitions and hands over to the respective new owners as well as implementing the Program closure procedure.
•    Supports resolution of customer complaints and service resolution during the project transition period and ensuring oversight of complaints within respective Business through the relevant forum 
•    Embed the Group’s values and code of conduct and develop a robust culture to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees. 
•    Maintain robust tracking mechanism of issues identified during the project transition period including ensuring all residual issues are resolved to satisfaction level. 
•    Ensure that Risk Management matters that are brought to the job holder’s attention are subject to direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate escalation to Group/governance committees, as appropriate.

Governance
•    Support the Program execution to deliver effective governance, oversight & controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas.
•    Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which both the Group and the Programme operate, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
•    Overall record custodian of the Project.
•    Coordinate and ensuring Project Governance forum/committee are held as per the defined frequency. Including custodian of all records and decisions made at these meetings.

Qualifications

•    This role is a highly organized self-starter and great communicator, able to work together with multiple teams and to demonstrate operational savviness, exceptional issue-solving, people and conduct management skills. 
•    This role should have an in-depth knowledge of Bank systems and client onboarding processes. 
•    The person should have a rich experience in Wealth and Retail Banking and Corporate Investment Banking across markets and teams which will enable transfer of best practices during business migration activities.
