Job Summary
Standard Chartered Bank is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to support the launch of new Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (CCIB) branch and representative offices across the region, with an initial focus on Saudi Arabia. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless project execution, stakeholder alignment, and delivery of key outcomes related to client onboarding, infrastructure setup, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with CCIB business (Coverage and Product teams) and project stakeholders to meet go-live goals, especially around client onboarding and account opening.
- Support the delivery of end-to-end technology infrastructure for Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (CCIB), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with business needs.
- Coordinate with Technology and Project Leads to drive a safe and controlled launch that supports a scalable, fit-for-growth business model.
- Transfer and embed best practices from mature Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (CCIB) markets.
- Collaborate with Programme and Product Owners to prioritize initiatives, assess cost-benefit impacts, and ensure effective handover to Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations.
- Oversee customer service escalation processes and complaints management in line with Group standards.
- Ensure deployment of Global Banking and Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (CCIB) processes in accordance with Group policies.
- Promote the Group’s values, Code of Conduct, and risk-aware culture across all activities.
- Maintain strong oversight of governance, risk, and regulatory obligations during programme delivery.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure strong governance frameworks and risk controls are in place throughout programme execution.
- Stay updated on regulatory frameworks and ensure full compliance with the Bank’s conduct standards, including ethical, regulatory, and business obligations.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve risk or conduct issues effectively and in line with the Bank’s Conduct Principles.
- May serve as a Board Director with delegated authority as required.

Qualifications
- A highly organized, proactive communicator with a track record in project delivery within Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (CCIB) environments.
- Strong understanding of Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (CCIB) systems and client onboarding processes.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, navigate regulatory frameworks, and resolve operational challenges.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing conduct, risk, and people.
- Experience working across markets and transferring best practices to new entities.
