Business Collaboration
- Develop and sustain effective, trust-based relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to respond swiftly and accurately to business requirements, queries, and requests.
- Maintain awareness of business targets and regulatory compliance, ensuring all activities contribute positively to these goals.
- Provide dedicated attention to priority clients, delivering high-quality service that meets or exceeds agreed standards and expectations.
- Take ownership of client transactions from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring consistent and reliable process adherence.
Process Management and Issue Resolution
- Efficiently handle queries, complaints, and compliments received from various channels including voice, email, online platforms, and internal communications.
- Own the full lifecycle of client queries and complaints, executing timely follow ups and appropriate escalations when necessary.
- Communicate progress and resolutions proactively with clients and internal teams to maintain transparency and client trust.
- Strive to resolve all issues within predefined timelines, fostering smooth transactional flows and minimising business disruption.
- Encourage client self-service adoption by promoting digital platforms and providing clear guidance on their use.
- Deliver effective one-time solutions for frequently encountered client queries to improve overall service efficiency.
- Meet and exceed departmental targets related to first-call resolution rates, query reduction, quality assurance on calls and emails, and rapid issue resolution practices.

Qualifications

- Experience in Trade Services and Trade Operations, demonstrating advanced knowledge of trade finance products.
- A recognised undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Comprehensive understanding of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules, local legislation, legal implications, and operational risk management within trade finance.
- Practical experience working with core trade products including Collections, Letters of Credit, Guarantees / Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), Open Account Financing, Receivable Purchases (Factoring), OR Islamic Trade Financing.
- Possession of professional ICC certifications such as Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) or Certified Specialist in Demand Guarantees (CSDG) will be considered a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to best practices in trade operations.

- Computer Proficiency: Competence in Microsoft Office suite and trade-related software applications, facilitating efficient task management and reporting.
