Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Executive Research Partner to join our HR Talent Acquisition team based in Hong Kong. As part of the Executive Talent Acquisition team, this role will closely partner with, and support the Executive Talent Acquisition Partner, focusing primarily on market mapping, talent intelligence and building strong pipelines of high-calibre candidates across key functions for our WRB (Wholesale, Retail & Business) business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market mapping of senior and executive talent for WRB across our key markets
  • Build and maintain long-term talent pipelines for critical and future leadership roles in the WRB business.
  • Perform proactive research and talent intelligence, including competitor analysis, organisational mapping, and market insights to inform executive hiring strategies.
  • Partner closely with the Executive Talent Acquisition Partner to support search strategies, including target lists, sourcing channels, and candidate engagement plans.
  • Identify, approach, and pre-qualify potential candidates, providing high-quality shortlists and talent summaries for review.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date information in talent databases/CRM tools, ensuring data quality and compliance with internal policies.
  • Prepare research reports, market updates, and talent heatmaps for key stakeholders within HR and the WRB business.
  • Support the execution of diversity and inclusion objectives through targeted research and talent mapping.
  • Collaborate with broader HR and Talent Acquisition colleagues across the region to share insights, best practices, and market trends.

 

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (up to 7 years) in executive research, talent sourcing, or executive search, preferably within financial services or banking.
  • Strong track record in research-based sourcing, talent mapping, and building pipelines for senior and specialist roles.
  • Experience supporting regional or multi-country talent acquisition in Asia is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with talent research tools, professional networking platforms, and market intelligence resources.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity, particularly in handling confidential information.
  • Culturally aware, with an understanding of the diverse markets across the markets that we operate in
