Job Description: 

Job Summary

The Job Holder’s responsibilities extend to process 
•    Product Knowledge – In depth understanding of bonds, non-SLR securities and interest rates
•    Market Analysis & Pricing - Monitor market trends, interest rates, and economic data to provide accurate pricing to clients and identify investment opportunities
•    Trade Execution - Execute secondary market transactions for government securities, corporate bonds, and money market instruments, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
•    Relationship Management - Manage and build relationships with institutional clients, banks, and brokers to source liquidity. Engaging with various intermediaries for getting best quotes for the bond offerings and for revenue generation for the organization
•    Operational Compliance - Coordinate with middle and back-office teams to ensure timely trade settlement, documentation, and reporting
•    Reporting & Strategy - Prepare daily/weekly Market Intelligence System (MIS) reports, including P&L and portfolio performance, and assist in developing investment strategies
•    Sales & Advisory – Engaging with clients (corporate, institutional, or affluent wealth clients) to deliver investment solutions and market insight
•    Product Development – Introducing new product and process-like back-to-back trade, spread transaction, bond warehousing, digitizing the process etc
•    Channel Engagement – Engaging with the SCB bank channel and SCSI frontline for distribution of offerings
•    Training – Conducting regular training with various stake holders and imparting the offering 
•    Group Governance and Process – Responsible for making process in adherence to local & global governance framework for introducing new products and instruments for expanding the product offering

Our Ideal Candidate

•    Graduate. Supplementary certifications related to Capital Markets preferred.
•    Prior experience of 8 - 10 years in areas related to Fixed Income dealing and business development.
•    Good domain knowledge of functioning of Fixed Income dealing.
•    Good knowledge of Broking and basic working knowledge of MS Office & process management
•    Strong “people’ Skills 
•    Cross team collaboration – Proactive engagement with Business Units and all responsible persons in the unit.
•    The ability to communicate to different levels within the organization and take the issues to closure
