Job Summary
We are currently seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) to join our Financial Institutions Group within the Investors segment, focusing on European Insurance and Real Money Fund clients. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced Senior Relationship Managers in a dynamic and strategic role supporting some of our most valued institutional clients.
This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their career - perhaps coming from a relationship support, coverage or junior Relationship Manager background - with a solid grasp of Funds or Insurance Markets and exposure to Financial Markets or Transaction Banking products.
The Role:
As an ARM, you will play a dual role – supporting the Senior Relationship Managers on strategic client engagement while also managing your own portfolio of smaller institutional clients. You will act as a key point of contact and be responsible for managing the client lifecycle end-to-end – from origination through to relationship development, credit management, and compliance oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and contribute to the origination and relationship management for our European Insurance and Real Money Funds portfolio.
- Lead client engagement for your own pool of clients, ensuring strong, compliant, and profitable relationships.
- Deliver client solutions across our Institutional Banking platform, with a strong focus on Financial Markets and Transaction Banking products, driving non-financing revenue (NFR).
- Partner with key internal stakeholders including Credit, Legal, and Compliance to ensure robust risk management and governance.
- Actively contribute to the development and execution of client account plans and strategic initiatives aligned with the Global Investors Strategy.
- Stay ahead of market trends, particularly in the Funds & Insurance sector, to anticipate client needs and deliver insightful, value-added advice.
Skills and Experience
- Exposure and experience within Funds or Insurance Markets with regards to Financial Markets or Transaction Banking products.
- Prior experience in client relationship management or coverage.
- Broad knowledge across a variety of products.
- Exposure to and ability to interact with clients.
- German language skills essential.

• Education Bachelor degree in Banking or Finance
• Languages Fluent in English and German
