Job Summary

Are you looking to build a long term career in banking with exposure, responsibility, and variety from day one? This is a unique opportunity to join Standard Chartered Bank AG’s Cash Product team, working at the heart of Transaction Banking in Europe.
In this role, you’ll gain hands on experience across the full cash management product landscape, supporting both Corporate and Financial Institution (FI / NBFI) clients. From accounts to and payments to collections, clearing, digital assets and transactional FX, you’ll develop a deep understanding of how global cash management products are designed, priced, governed and delivered.

•    Supporting the execution of cash product strategy across Europe
•    Analysing product performance, revenue drivers and market trends
•    Helping manage pricing, billing and product governance

•    Contributing to regulatory, risk and control frameworks that underpin safe and sustainable banking

Key Responsibilities

Business
•    Provide monthly MIS to connect business performance data and uncover actionable insights.
•    Continuously assess products for suitability, growth potential, and sale readiness per TB Product Programmes and Risk frameworks.
•    Follow the Product Lifecycle Framework by managing and executing country-level Cash product plans and exploring new markets.
•    Collaborate with Group Product teams to align product delivery and ensure local market requirements are met.
•    Gather competitor and regulatory intelligence to strengthen market position.
•    Partner with Relationship Managers and Transactional Banking Sales teams to grow business in Europe.
•    Oversee pricing and billing, optimize revenue and costs, and deliver on financial targets, including fee initiatives.
•    Regularly review pricing, evaluate waivers or exceptions, and benchmark against competitors to set optimal local product prices.

Day-to-Day Tasks

Processes
•    Identify opportunities and drive implementation of process and service improvements within appropriate governance to enhance product execution across sales, implementation, and service.
•    Write and review regional product documents; collaborate with stakeholders to assess risks. Support new product launches in the region, ensuring compliance with local AG and European governance requirements.

People & Talent
•    Represent TB and advocate for our business and our region 
•    Participate and be present in the AG community, TB and bank wide networks 

Risk Management
•    Identify and proactively manage open risks, escalating promptly and clearly.
•    Develop mitigants, propose remediation plans, and take ownership to ensure closure.
•    Provide regular progress updates, escalate when needed, and seek assistance early to unblock.

Governance
•    Follow group standards, local policies, and procedures, including product governance, change management, and operational risk management. Prepare and deliver risk or governance updates to committees and forums.
•    Renew country product documentation on time and coordinate with stakeholders to keep documents current and ensure timely approv

Qualifications

Education
•    Graduate (mandatory) or Postgraduate
Certifications
•    Certificate in International Cash Management or similar well regarded
Languages
•    English (mandatory)
•    German (well regarded)
