Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Director, Loan Syndicate Europe to join our team in Germany. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and execution of our European loan syndication strategy while driving strong distribution performance across our network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with the loan investor network to meet primary and secondary distribution volume targets while maximising skim income.
  • Support risk reduction by distributing stick positions effectively.
  • Contribute to achieving regional and global TPI budget objectives.
  • Ensure full compliance with all standards and guidelines.
  • Promote and expand our distribution strategy across CRE, ECA, PF, Transportation Finance, LAF, Fund Financing, Corporate and FI sectors in collaboration with regional and global heads.
  • Optimise RORWA and release RWA from the book to enhance shareholder ROTE.
  • Actively shape regional Loan Syndications strategy to maximise shareholder value and align with the broader business objectives
  • Lead and coordinate primary syndicated loan transactions in Europe, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders throughout the syndication process.
  • Support bookrunning for transactions in other regions as required.
  • Oversee secondary loan distribution in partnership with Portfolio Management
  • Draft T&C offer sheets, ensuring compliance with Legal & Compliance requirements.
  • Provide accurate and timely information for underwriting applications and CAF submissions.
  • Ensure accurate deal ticket and sales data submissions.
  • Support client and internal presentations, pitchbooks, and RFP responses.
  • Maintain and analyse market and transaction databases to support team performance.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Strong expertise in risk management, internal controls, and governance.
  • Deep knowledge of market dynamics, structured derivatives, and securitisation products.
  • Proven ability to manage distribution channels and investor relationships.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and DebtDomain.

Qualifications

•    Education      Bachelor or Master degree
•    Licenses        Proficient with MS Excel, MS Powerpoint. and DebtDomain
•    Languages     Fluency in English
