Job Summary

We’re looking for a high-impact sales leader to execute our Global Transaction Banking sales strategy across an assigned portfolio of large corporate clients. This is an individual contributor role, focused on originating and expanding relationships across Europe, with a particular emphasis on regional treasury centres, especially treasury centres located in Ireland. You’ll drive “new-to-bank” revenues, deepen product penetration, and build durable senior-level relationships by translating treasury priorities into tailored cash, liquidity and transactional foreign exchange solutions. You’ll also partner closely with Global Banking colleagues to win new relationships through proactive, insight-led client engagement and compelling proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Growth (Portfolio Coverage)
- Execute the Global Transaction Banking sales strategy for an assigned portfolio of large corporates across Europe, with a specific focus on treasury centres located in Ireland.
- Drive new-to-bank revenue and accelerate product and market penetration across global, regional and local buying centres.
- Own and grow subsidiary-level revenues across cash management, trade, and transactional foreign exchange solutions.
- Work alongside Global Banking partners to break into new client relationships through active marketing of the bank’s strengths and capabilities.
Client Strategy & Solutioning
- Build a deep understanding of clients’ business models, geographic footprints, treasury policies, decision-making processes and buying centres.
- Identify explicit and implied client needs; engage senior influencers and decision makers; develop client-specific solutions and lead end-to-end proposals and pitches.
- Design and deliver solutions across cash, liquidity, and transactional foreign exchange, aligning to treasury priorities and value drivers.
- Present the bank’s European capabilities to global headquarters for clients with subsidiaries across Europe, tailoring the message to each client’s operating model and treasury set-up.
Execution & Revenue Realisation
- Lead execution through to revenue realisation, focusing on successful implementation outcomes (not just deal closure).
- Coordinate effectively with internal partners (including transactional sales and implementation teams) to remove blockers and ensure delivery against agreed client outcomes.
- Support negotiation and documentation for new-to-bank business, ensuring commercial clarity and robust governance.
- Play an active role in credit and compliance approvals and ensure appropriate adherence to internal policies and standards.
