Job Summary

Lead and grow the Cash Solutions business for clients domiciled in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), with responsibility for both new client acquisition and deepening existing relationships.

Drive strategic growth in alignment with the SCB strategy, while leading and developing the Germany Cash Sales team.

German language skills and deep knowledge of the German market are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

• Drive “new-to-bank” revenues and expand product penetration across Cash clients in the DACH region.

• Lead growth in core segments, with emphasis on Cash Solutions and cross-sell to Trade and FX.

• Execute the SCB strategy, building a sustainable and profitable Cash franchise.

 

Business

• Grow portfolio revenues and strengthen client relationships in line with targets.

• Identify client needs, develop tailored solutions, and lead high-impact pitches and proposals.

• Own account plans and deliver on franchise revenue goals for Germany.

• Manage end-to-end execution of TB Cash opportunities, from origination through to revenue delivery.

• Build strong access to key decision makers and influencers within client organisations.

 

People & Talent

• Lead, coach, and develop the Germany Cash Sales team, driving performance and professional growth.

• Onboard and mentor new joiners to ensure rapid integration and productivity.

• Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture aligned with bank values.

 

Risk Management

• Manage all TB Cash Sales risks in the country, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and audit requirements.

• Promote a risk-aware culture, ensuring no failed audits and strong risk metrics.

• Provide guidance to the team on best practices for risk identification, mitigation, and reporting.

 

Governance

• Engage stakeholders across functions to drive the origination agenda and deliver exceptional client outcomes.

• Promote the SCB brand, adhering to the Group Code of Conduct and upholding the highest standards of integrity.

Skills and Experience

• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, develop, and lead high-performing teams.

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial services, ideally within Transaction Banking, with strong expertise in international cash management.

• Deep understanding of the German market, client and industry ecosystems as well as established relationships with corporate clients in the bespoke region.

• Extensive client-facing experience, with a strong track record in originating, executing, and cross-selling solutions — including Trade and FX — for DACH headquartered companies at both local, regional and global levels.

• Demonstrated success in building strategic relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering complex, multi-product solutions to clients.

• Fluency in both German and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills in both languages.
