Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Intern, Credit Structuring to join our Financial Markets team in Frankfurt. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in structured credit solutions, working alongside experienced professionals across Structuring, Trading, Sales, Legal, and Risk functions.
As part of the Credit Structuring team, you will support the development and delivery of innovative financing and risk management solutions for financial institution clients across Europe. You will gain exposure to credit markets, structured products, client solutions, and transaction execution while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support Credit Structuring Activities
- Assist the Credit Structuring team in developing and delivering structured credit solutions for clients across Europe.
- Build an understanding of the Bank's credit structuring products and their application in different market environments.
- Support the preparation of client presentations, product materials, trade analyses, and structuring proposals.
- Assist in developing trade ideas that leverage prevailing market opportunities and meet client objectives.
Collaboration and Transaction Support
- Work closely with Structuring, Sales, and Trading teams to evaluate and develop client solutions.
- Coordinate with Legal and other control functions to support transaction execution and ensure appropriate documentation is in place.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing product capabilities, client service, and operational efficiency.
Market and Product Analysis
- Conduct market research and analysis across credit, rates, FX, and commodities markets.
- Assist in monitoring market developments and identifying relevant opportunities for clients.
- Support the continuous evolution and innovation of the Credit Structuring product offering.
Teamwork and Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple locations and business functions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas that support business growth and client outcomes.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset.
Risk, Governance and Conduct
- Maintain an awareness of the risks associated with financial markets activities and support the team's risk management framework.
- Adhere to all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:
Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong academic record with an interest in financial markets and structured products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of derivatives, quantitative finance, programming, or financial modelling is advantageous.
- Progress towards or interest in professional qualifications such as CFA or FRM is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Credit, FX, Rates, and Commodities markets.
Languages
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- German and additional European languages would be beneficial.
