Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Advisor to deliver impactful advisory services, enabling People Leaders and colleagues to drive key people priorities. In this role, you will strengthen leadership capabilities, accelerate talent growth, and shape a differentiated colleague experience across the Bank. HR Advisory enables Standard Chartered’s people strategy by delivering direct, high-impact support to People Leaders. Through targeted interactions, the team advances a culture of action, ambition, and accountability while ensuring alignment with the Bank’s strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive HR advisory support across leadership capability, employee development, and continuous performance management.
• Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence and Business/Cluster teams to drive HR initiatives.
• Identify recurring people challenges and propose scalable interventions.
• Engage directly with high-potential talent and support differentiated career experiences.
• Lead the execution of HR programmes aligned with the People Plan.
• Support People Leaders in navigating complex employee relations cases in partnership with ER teams.
• Champion simple, effective, and scalable HR process implementation across the business.
• Leverage data analytics to drive insights and continuous improvement in advisory services.

Skills and Experience

• Proven HR advisory experience with senior stakeholder engagement.
• Expertise in talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
• Ability to influence People Leaders and drive meaningful people outcomes.
• Strong project execution and organisational change management skills.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation abilities.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to derive insights from people data.
• Professional certification in HR (desirable).
