Job Summary
Purpose
• Enterprise leader within the S&T team, looking for opportunities to collaborate with other S&T groups on areas where the CRES Workplace Team can enhance the Banks identity, culture and experience
• Ensuring the priorities and resources of the CRES Workplace Team are aligned to delivering the Banks Cross Boarder and Affluent Strategy.
Strategy
• Level 2 Workplace Process Owner for CRES Project Delivery, Workplace Design Standards, Client and Employee Hospitality and Event products
• Accountable for driving operational excellence relating to Workplace processes
• Accountable for the CRES Digital Strategy
• Accountable to ensure regional workplace change programmes are complaint to workplace processes and standards
• Responsible for Workplace assumptions relating to Metro and County Property Strategies
Client and Employee Experience
• Providing strategic direction in relation to Client and Employee Experience
• Taking experience at the bank to a new level in support of our Cross Board and Affluent strategy this role provides strategic direction to our hospitality and events services impacting 95k colleagues and 500k visitors
• Ensuring the Client and Employee experience outcomes are incorporated through SC Foundation and SC design standards and the execution thereof through regional change programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Design Management
• Working with CABM on the embodiment of the SC brand through our physical Workplace and Workplace services
• Provide strategic input into the development of workplace standards including SC Foundations office and SC Retail Design guidelines.
• Drives consistency of our standards through Office and Branch change programmes.
Capital Projects & Programmes
• Level 2 process owner for CRES Project Delivery
• Support the Head Capital Projects & Programmes to lead the IPO partnership to drive Office and Branch outcomes
• Through Regional Workplace lead his role influence strategy and project delivery outcomes
• With the Asset Management team support the region to solution and execute enterprise wide business initiatives
• Support the Head Capital Projects & Programmes to lead the IPO partnership to drive Office and Branch outcomes
• Accountable for FFG Property activity
• With the CRES CFO support the planning process to establish annual outcomes & activity in relation to Office and Branch outcomes
Digital & Technology
• Accountable for defining and managing the end-to-end CRES digital strategy and roadmap to deliver a best-in-class client and employee experience, improve productivity and operational excellence, and support CRES being AI-ready.
• Ensures the digital strategy and roadmap are aligned to the wider Bank and CRES strategy, enabling delivery of the desired outcomes across experience, efficiency, risk and controls across offices and retail branches.
• Accountable for strategy, roadmap, prioritisation and governance of all CRES Digital technology initiatives. Delivery is executed through the CRES CIO (T&O team) and CRES supply partners.
Leadership
• This role will deliver its purpose by providing strategic guidance to Workplace job family including third party supply partners in relation to their job accountabilities and achieving outcomes in relation to the CRES strategy.
People & Talent
• Leadership and development of Talent within the Workplace team
Risk Management
As Risk Control Owner for CRES Project Delivery responsible under the Group Operational Risk Framework (ORF) for ensuring that the residual risks within the scope of responsibilities remain within appetite.
• Challenge and verify First Line risk identification and assessments, in line with changes in the internal and external environment
• Identify and report key risks and ensure where outside of the risk appetite they are escalated to the appropriate body for risk acceptance
• Maintain a good understanding of applicable laws and regulations pertaining to PROPERTY Risk control areas
• Design, implement and maintain controls and mitigants
• Ensure effective communication of policies and other control requirements
• Define key control indicators and control sample testing requirements as appropriate for managing risk
• Monitor compliance with and effectiveness of the risk control environment
• Monitor ‘live’ risk issues and events material to the Bank and verify whether appropriate management action is being taken to mitigate their impact
• Advise governance bodies on key risks, the effectiveness of mitigants and controls, and alignment of residual risks with appetite
• Ensure at all times operations in workplace functions are audit ready
Governance
• Accountable to ensure our Project Management delivery is compliant to the Banks Project Management Standards
• Member of CRES QPR
