Job Summary

•    Work closely with the business stakeholders to deliver the reporting requirements to be implemented in country.
•    Develop business intelligence reporting to deliver valuable insights to stakeholders in their management of human capital to drive more value, including providing key information for the purpose of strategic planning
•    Provide comprehensive and ongoing support to the team in designing, refining, and optimizing Management Information (MI) reports. This includes collaborating closely with business stakeholder to understand their unique reporting needs, implementing best practices for data visualization and presentation, and ensuring that all MI reports are aligned with the organization's strategic goals. By enabling accurate and timely tracking of Core Business Indicators (CBI), these refined reports will foster a data-driven culture and enhance overall decision-making capabilities within the organization.
•    Consolidate the existing Management Information (MI) report by reviewing and integrating all relevant data sources and ensuring consistency and accuracy across all reported metrics, then complete the migration from SAS coding to EasyData / Python by carefully assessing the current SAS-based reporting processes and identifying areas for improvement. This will involve developing a migration plan that outlines the steps required to transition from SAS to EasyData / Python, including data conversion, script rewriting, and testing.
•    Collect new business requirements from stakeholders to design and build thematic dashboards and data cubes that cater to specific business needs. This will involve conducting detailed requirement-gathering sessions, understanding the unique data visualization and analysis needs of each stakeholder, and designing dashboards and data cubes that provide intuitive and insightful views of key performance indicators.
 

Qualifications

•    Relevant experience in the areas of business intelligence, data-warehousing 
•    Project management skills
•    University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar discipline
•    Working experience with SAS or SQL is must
•    Good knowledge of banking products/services and front end core banking systems
•    Financial Literacy with be an added advantage
