Job Summary
Below The Corporate Action Analyst will be responsible for processing and reconciling corporate actions, ensuring accurate and timely settlement of dividends, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate events. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of corporate actions processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for Singapore and Hong Kong Private Bank corporate actions operations, supporting business needs, growth and to improve the overall operating efficiency.
• Monitor and process corporate actions: Track and process dividends, interest payments, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate events.
• Reconcile corporate actions: Verify and reconcile corporate action entitlements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with clients, custodians, and internal teams to resolve issues and provide updates.
• Monitor market announcements and regulatory changes affecting corporate actions.
• Driving harmonization of processes within the hubs by taking advantage of a panoramic view of varied country processes.
• Partner with the hub teams to ensure that corporate action operations strategy defined in-country is executed in the hubs and caters for client outcomes.
• Ensure timely and accurate diary creations in T24.
• Ensure that transactions are done in and in accordance with bank operational menu, desk instructions, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Accurate update of client’s securities holdings in the bank system and correct reflection of such holdings in clients consolidated statements.

Business
• Maintain close working relationship with Wealth Product and business stakeholders and their respective teams, to ensure that product segment strategy and revenue aspirations are clearly understood and supported.
Processes
• Ensure that processing operations for the WRB business across the Retail Wealth and globally for Private Bank achieves a high level of accuracy, integrity, and completeness, Ensure quality and timeliness of Service Delivery – TAT and accuracy in the delivery of wealth products.
• Partner respective businesses in developing product roadmap, work closely with group Wealth Management Operations teams to operationalize and ensure that the underlying processes are fit for purpose.
Risk Management
• Proactive identification, preventive control, and mitigation of key process/ operational risks.
• Strong detective controls and continuous learning and fixing from risks incidents.
• Drive risk management initiatives across the unit resulting in minimal or zero breaches and zero regulatory breaches.
• Ensuring timely reporting of risk items as per the Group Risk Management Framework.
• Ensuring adherence to all Group Policies and Procedures and adequate training to staff to always ensure compliance.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Qualifications
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong understanding of wealth products including its process standards and operating controls.
• Experience in corporate actions, settlements, or securities operations will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of processes, processing platforms, operations, service and technology, and ability to leverage on technology and automation, and effective risk management and governance controls including effective compliance controls, oversight.
