Job Summary

Wealth Management Operation Department (herein “WMO”) is at the heart of Wealth Management business and bridges various stakeholders to work as one. The department is responsible to setup the products internally, execute, clear, settle the transactions, and resolve any problems derived from above activities. The department is also accountable to engineer and perform control processes to remediate the inherent risk in operational activities and to drive the efficiencies and digitalization at the same time

The department is also accountable to engineer and perform control processes to remediate the inherent risk in operational activities and to drive the efficiencies and digitalization at the same time.

Business
The ISOC team is expected to perform day-to-day tasks and its derivative jobs if applicable including but not limited to 1) Products setup in the system 2) Transactions input and data maintenance 3) Confirmation and payment processes 4) Reconciliation and other control processes 5) Liaison with frontlines for the exceptional cases 6) Cooperation with product managers and technology to drive projects. 

Key Responsibilities

Processes
The role is setup under “ISOC” team to provide operational support to Mutual Funds and Treasury business of HK Wealth Management. This role is expected to perform day-to-day tasks and its derivative jobs if applicable including but not limited to 1) Products setup in the system 2) Transactions input and data maintenance 3) Confirmation and payment processes 4) Reconciliation and other control processes 5) Liaison with frontlines for the exceptional cases 6) Cooperation with product managers and technology to drive projects.

People & Talent
1) Quick learner with proven academic record 2) Being logical and analytical, good reasoning ability 3) Team player and open mindset 4) Good common sense 5) Self-driven and diligent 6) Proficient English skill 7) Experience in Financial industry or banking Operations is preferred 8) Entry-level coding skill (e.g. VBA or SQL) is a plus
