Job Summary

The successful candidate will be a skilled software engineer who is excited about working with a world class team to analysing, designing, developing and delivering solutions built for FM business.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategy on data, technology roadmap and business goals.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop technology policies, standards, guidelines and best practices for effective data services aligned to the data governance and data management policies, standards and guidelines.
  • Identify key data requirements, determine data sources, and design approaches to data integration which aligns with the overall data strategy and roadmap.
  • Communicate architectural decisions in a clear, business-relevant manner.
  • Work with business and IT team to on development and enforcement of data architecture standards, principles, and best practices to ensure consistency across organization
  • Implement process for managing the complete data lifecycle, from acquisition and storage to transformation, archival and deletion that align with the organization’s needs and future scalability requirements.
  • Collaborate with regulatory, compliance and audit team to understand and continuously improve our data process.

Skills and Experience

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Lead Data Analyst or similar role in data management.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing data strategy as well as large-scale, enterprise level data systems.
  • Expertise in Java or Python with a focus on building reusable and extendable frameworks.
  • Expertise in large, complex organisations, ability to manage technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Working knowledge of data policy & governance, data dictionaries, data quality governance, best practices for Metadata and data quality maintenance is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the banking and financial market industry.
  • Strong communication, story-telling, and facilitation skills across business and technical audiences.
  • Expertise in ClickHouse or Minio is a plus.
  • Expertise with AI, LLM including Prompt Engineering, RAG and Agent development is a plus.
