Job Summary
Reporting to the CDAO (Chief Data and Analytics Officer) and the Data Governance Lead, you will join a multidisciplinary team to work on and solve many interesting challenges we are facing, learn new ways of working and build delightful high-quality products for our customers. We are looking for a Data Governance Analyst for our digital venture in Singapore. Data Governance is an essential function within the company, and you will support the CDAO and the Data Governance Lead to drive this area in a customer-centric and product-centric vibrant and collaborative environment.
In this role, you should be familiar with the agile practices and working in sprints with other business teams and data engineers to bring data governance use cases to life. You will also be playing an active role in driving the roll-out and adoption of the Data Management processes across the bank and be responsible executing the Data Governance BAU processes. Your passion for data and desire to govern and manage data to ensure data integrity and data quality will be key for this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Have a good understanding of the Data Risk Framework in TRUST and able to apply judgement on ensuring the bank adheres to the data risk standards and expectations.
• Support the roadmap in improving and implementing data governance and operating model to support business, regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Support the enhancement of data management process in the end-to-end lifecycle to ensure data integrity and data quality.
• Serve as a liaison between business and IT and ensure data requirements are clearly defined, prioritised, and implemented.
• Support the facilitation of data governance workgroup on a bi-weekly basis.
• Follow up with data owners, data stewards and data custodians in data governance workgroup to drive actions items/ data issues to closure.
• Perform data risk controls assessments and work with business and IT on solutions and remediation
Key Responsibilities
People & Talent
• 2 - 4 years of experience in data related disciplines (e.g., Business Intelligence/ Visualisation, Data Governance, Data Management, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, ETL, or Data Architecture).
• Experience in communicating data governance initiatives, policies and standards across the organisation by conducting training to internal stakeholders for any new or modified process areas in data governance.
• Experience in implementing data governance structure and supporting business adoption.
• Experience in rolling out data management processes that are fit for purpose.
• Experience working with other business and functions (e.g. Audit, Compliance, Operations, Risk or other stakeholders) to drive adoption of data governance and data management.
• Experience in conflict resolution and change management.
• Knowledge in data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Amundsen, Informatica, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical teams (e.g., business and functions) on data.
• Practical experience working in an agile environment.
• Strong team player.
