Job Summary
The Head of AIOps will be responsible for managing and optimizing the operational aspects of the AI infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in automation, CI/CD, governance frameworks, AI risk management and security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering complex projects, Devops and understand the end to end governance lifecycle of AI pipelines starting from data to model serving.
Key Responsibilities
• MLOps Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive MLOps strategy to shift left controls, and enhance the operational efficiency of AI and machine learning platform.
• Automation Leadership: Drive the implementation of CI/CD/CT (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Testing), and CMRAI (Continuous Monitoring and Reporting of AI) automation to streamline the AI lifecycle.
• Domain Design & Catalog: Lead the design and implementation of domain design and cataloging, including model registry and cataloging layers to ensure organized and accessible AI assets.
• LLMOps: Implement and manage LLMOps (Large Language Model Operations) to optimize the deployment and management of large-scale AI models.
• Governance Framework: Develop and enforce governance frameworks and workflows to ensure compliance aligned with responsible AI principles.
• Dashboard Development: Create governance dashboards to provide visibility into AI operations, including lineage tracking, auditing, and performance metrics.
• Model registry: Create and integrate a consistent model registry across cloud and on-premises.
• Risk Management: Establish AI controls and risk framework automation to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with AI deployments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with CDO office, risk teams, CISOs, responsible AI team and ML engineers to ensure the platform meets the control and enablement requirements.
• Innovation & Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AIOps, GPU computing, and infrastructure technologies, continuously improving the platform.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for AIOps, aligning with the company's overall AI strategy.
Qualifications
• Experience: 15+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, and AIOps, with a focus on data, AI and machine learning environments.
• DevOps & MLOps Skills: Strong proficiency in DevOps and MLOps practices, including CI/CD/CT pipelines, automation frameworks, and MLFlow.
• Governance & Risk Management: Deep understanding of governance frameworks, risk management, lineage tracking, and AI controls.
• Frameworks & Tools: Hands-on experience with MLFlow, Kubeflow, Unity Catalog, and RunAI.
• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and experience in managing hybrid cloud environments.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Leadership: Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of engineers.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
