Key Responsibilities

1. CMDB Strategy and Implementation
Architect and implement a scalable Configuration Management Database (CMDB) aligned with business objectives and industry best practices on JIRA.
Design and establish automated discovery mechanisms for accurate asset data collection
Develop integration frameworks with ITSM tools, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems
Create and maintain CMDB data quality metrics and KCIs and KPIs.
Establish governance frameworks for CMDB change management and data stewardship
Design and maintain Configuration Item (CI) relationship mapping
2. Asset Lifecycle and License Management
Develop and implement comprehensive asset lifecycle management strategies
Create and maintain EOS/EOL tracking systems with automated alerting mechanisms
Establish vendor management processes for software and hardware assets
Implement software license optimization strategies and compliance monitoring
Design automated license reconciliation processes
Develop cloud asset management strategies including cost optimization
Create disposal procedures ensuring data security and environmental compliance
Implement automated procurement workflows integrated with asset management systems
3. Asset Criticality and Risk Management
Execute asset security classification review programs
Implement automated compliance monitoring for critical assets
4. Asset Intelligence and Quality Assurance
Design and implement automated asset discovery and validation processes
Develop data quality frameworks with automated validation rules
Create asset intelligence dashboards and reporting systems
Implement predictive analytics for asset lifecycle management
Establish asset utilization monitoring and optimization processes
Design and maintain asset cost allocation models
Implement automated reconciliation processes
Develop asset performance metrics and KPIs
 

Technical Skills

JIRA
Business intelligence tools
Automation and integration platforms
Scripting languages (Python, JQL)
 

Preferred Qualifications

ITAM (IT Asset Management) certification
CITAM (Certified IT Asset Manager) certification
ITIL 4 Expert certification
Experience with JIRA
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
