Job Summary
As a Lead Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and leading the implementation of scalable and secure cloud-based solutions. You will oversee the development and management of API gateways, Kafka-based messaging systems, and ensure seamless integration across platforms. Additionally, you will provide leadership in business-as-usual (BAU) support, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical systems. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs while adhering to best practices in cloud architecture and platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement scalable cloud architecture solutions to meet business requirements.
• Develop and manage API gateways to ensure secure and efficient communication between services.
• Lead the implementation and optimization of Kafka-based messaging systems.
• Provide BAU support, ensuring system reliability, performance, and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end platform solutions.
• Drive automation and best practices in platform engineering processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot platform issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent applicable experience.
• Managing Incidents, change and problem management activities.
• Proven experience in cloud architecture design and implementation.
• Expertise in API gateway development and management.
• ADO / Devops tools
• Strong knowledge of Kafka and messaging systems.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
