Within Markets Technology, the SABRE team responsible for the development of Standard Chartered Analytics Booking and Risk Engine, CCIB's strategic cross asset pricing and risk management platform, built on top of the Bank’s in-house analytics library 


What’s in it for you?
You will join as Senior Business Manager, Financial Markets Analytics, Risk and Valuation within the Markets Technology SABRE in Guangzhou, China. You will manage and support global projects and users, working closely with Traders, Risk Managers and Product Controllers in Financial Markets, as well as the global SABRE team across China, Singapore, and London. This Change-The -Bank role requires leadership, creative thinking, problem solving skills and an ability to embrace and drive change.


What are we looking for? 
We are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about Financial Markets, Technology and customer experience, and we value specialized expertise. If you possess traits and experience that match most of the below, we’d love to hear from you: 

-    Minimum 8-year experience in Financial Markets, either within a financial institution or a risk management software company, in end user facing role(s). Solid understanding of Trading and Market Risk; software and practices.
-    Strong academic foundation in mathematics / financial mathematics, statistics
-    Knowledge of derivatives risk and pricing in at least one asset class is a must. 
-    Knowledge and track record of Technology solutions delivery as Business Analyst and/or Project Manager
-    Adaptive to changing situations and enjoy collaborating with global teams in a diverse multi-cultural environment. 
-    Passionate for solving challenging problems, hands-on, customer service-oriented mindset.
-    Fluent English is a must.
-    CFA/ FRM/ PMP certifications are relevant.

Key stakeholders
•    FM users: Front Office, Market Risk, Finance, Middle Office, Operations
•    Technology: Development leads, developers, testers, project managers, program manager, support groups

Skills and Experience

Academics: Mathematics / financial mathematics / statistics. 
Knowledge of derivatives risk and pricing in at least one asset class. Hands-on, able to reproduce and explain valuations
Understands Financial Markets organisation, experienced working with traders
Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and translate IT concepts into layman terms
Ability to drive projects requirements analysis on complex Front Office or Market Risk requests.
Ability to efficiently manage deliveries with global teams, including Quants, Technology development and QA.
Scripting, SQL

Qualifications

•    Strong academic foundation in mathematics / financial mathematics, statistics. MSc or PhD preferred. Knowledge of options & derivatives pricing is at least one asset class is a must
