Job Summary

  • Provides daily L3 support (Risks, Valuations and Analytics) to Traders, Risk Managers and Product Controllers on SABRE (Standard Chartered Analytics Booking and Risk Engine) - the bank’s strategic Risk and Valuations platform for Financial Markets, Treasury Markets and Private Banking. 
  • Supports Market Risk Stress Testing platform upkeep, enhancements, and Upgrades.
  • Supports regression testing and enhancements on Sabre platform

As part of Group Strategy, Enterprise Risk Management Framework enables the Bank to have integrated and holistic risk conversations across the Group and the three lines of defence. It underpins an enterprise level ability to identify and assess, openly discuss, and take prompt action to address existing and emerging risks. Stress Testing assesses the resilience of our portfolio and resources against possible future scenarios. The role core part of Market Risk Stress Testing platform building on stated Strategy. 

Business
Focuses on Market Risk Management, the Role will build tools as Business Analyst to aid Risk Managers capability to assess Risks of shock scenarios. You will join as a Business Analyst in a wider Team of analysts responsible for Platform upkeep and Upgrades while focused on Stress Testing. You will build your digital skills, adaptability, and leadership necessary to be future-ready. Working closely with experts across the Financial Markets Technology stack, you will perform business analysis for FM Stress Testing, Risk and Valuations delivery as well as ongoing Business Support and KTLO. You will also actively engage with the development teams to build code driven, dynamic and automated documentation wherever possible. Being part of a Change-The-Bank team, this role requires out-of-the-box, creative thinking, problem solving skills and an ability to embrace and drive change
 

Key Responsibilities

•    Business Analyst for Sabre Platform focused on MRB EOD batch reports and Market Risk Stress Testing
•    Support User queries and production issues.
•    Manage Platform analytics upgrade for MRB+Stress Testing. 
•    Drive requirements Analysis taking full ownership of Scope, prioritisation and negotiations 
•    Gather requirements, analyse and document it, prepare backlog and participate in Agile ceremonies for estimation and planning
•    Perform Solutioning for User requirements involving Quants and Data teams
•    Manage Delivery working with FM Tech Development Teams and QA Team
•    Post go-live support to Users and Product Support Team
•    User UAT support, demos and onboarding
•    Enhancements Tracking, requirements and prioritisation
•    Share knowledge by documentation and be ready to learn new things as the role evolves in other area of Risk and Valuations 
•    User point of contact for managing end to end delivery
•    Ensure delivered solutions are thoroughly tested and meet stakeholder criteria
•    Periodic Stakeholder reporting and working group management

  • Manage Project deliveries as BA cum PM for Stress Testing platform while ensuring Stakeholder communication and Reporting standards 

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION     ENGINEERING/ FINANCIAL ENGINEERING DEGREE / MASTERS 
  • CERTIFICATIONS     PRM, FRM
