Title: Manager, Risk Governance

Job Summary
We're looking for a Risk Governance Manager to support Risk Governance with Country Risk team in China, including risk, regulatory, reporting and governance related activities.
Key Responsibilities
Processes
• Data Aggregation and Reporting
o Undertake the task of aggregating and reporting diverse types of data. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data submission.
o Support head of Risk Governance in preparing various risk update papers (e.g., EXCO, Board, and Risk Committee)
Risk Management
• Risk related task
o Support the Head of Risk Governance in handling Reputational & Sustainability Risk related local tasks.
o Assist in bank-wide Stress Testing processes and activities.
o Facilitate and coordinate Risk Appetite, NPL, and ECL management initiatives.
o Support the Head of Risk Governance in managing risk areas assigned to the ERM.
Governance
• Committee Governance
o Coordinating various of Country Committees & forums. Support for material collection / primary quality checking /consolidation for risk related committees;
• Governance
o Support head of risk governance for other BAU works / ad-hoc requirements.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Regulatory enquires support
o Coordinate the regulatory response for ad - hoc inquiries from regulatory authorities.
• Regulatory implementation Adaptation
o Collect and analyze information regarding regulatory Publications, Obligations Registers, and other regulatory - related materials for risk types the Head of Risk Governance is responsible for.

• Senior Management team and delegates of SCB China

• Country Risk Team
Skills and Experience
• Meeting productivity standards in terms of processing efficiency and accuracy of output.
• Contributing on process improvement, procedures and other team daily work
• Contribution of operation risk management to avoid any operational and/or reputational impact to the company/group.
• Achieves the processing turnaround standards as stipulated in the Service Level Agreement between the Dept and various spoke countries.
• Supporting the roll-out of appropriate quality management systems and achieving the quality objectives and standards set.
• Developing team members to achieve the desired level of productivity and competency.
• Ensure controls are in place and to ensure that the team attains acceptable rating for all internal and external audits conducted, with no significant risk and control issues that may impact GBS China.
• Broad experience in Banking industry with minimum 5 years experience in risk management
• Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements, namely those from the NFRA, PBOC, PRA and Basel, etc.
• Prior experience in Finance/Risk&Compliance/Audit/Governance, and
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese
