Job Summary

As a DevOps Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and deployment of our platform infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, cloud and on-prem platform setup, and infrastructure as code (IaC) management. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our platform solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES


Business
•    Develop and champion solutions through coding and automation 
•    Ensure platform delivery and services meet highest level of standard of availability and reliability.
•    Manage the DevOps tools deployed on-prem and on Kubernetes
•    Review the current DevOps pipeline and provide implement a short and long term plan.
•    Experience in building pipeline for hybrid cloud solutions
•    Onboard development team into the DevOps pipeline. 
•    Expertise in Config and Development tools experience.
•    Knowledge in DevOps tool chain.
•    Define the application monitoring, alerting and reporting framework.
•    Collaborate with the solution architects and application development leads to co-create robust and scalable application framework by providing best practices in design & coding.

Qualifications

•    Microservices Architecture: Proficient in designing and managing microservices, with experience in Apache Kafka.
•    Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and EKS.
•    Container Technologies: Extensive experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
•    Programming and Scripting: Strong skills in Python, with additional proficiency in Ansible and Groovy being advantageous.
•    Infrastructure Knowledge: Solid understanding of networks, operating systems, and other infrastructure components.
•    Configuration Management: Experience with tools like Ansible and Packer for managing configurations.
•    Continuous Integration: Proficient in using tools like Maven and Jenkins for CI processes.
•    Continuous Deployment: Experience with deployment tools such as Jenkins and Rundeck.
•    Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
