Job Summary
We’re looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our Markets Technology team. You’ll work across Financial Markets Analytics, Risk and Valuation and partner with our international SABRE team, helping to transform complex data into strategic insights to drive us forward.
You’ll be part of our global Application Development, Support and Engineering Team, which is the technical backbone of our digital strategy, combining innovative software development with rigorous financial security protocols to deliver seamless experiences that empower our customers. You’ll be given the autonomy to impact real change, the flexibility to work in a way that suits you, and the tools you need to deliver with impact. Application Development, Support and Engineering sits within our global Technology and Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the architecture and development of secure, scalable, banking applications, across multiple platforms.
- Implementation and maintenance of critical financial transaction systems.
- Collaborating with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure applications meet strict regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in production environments, with minimal service disruption.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and stay current with emerging technologies in banking.
Qualifications
- Substantial experience in Financial Markets, either within a financial institution or a risk management software company, in an end-user facing role.
- Solid understanding of Trading and Market Risk associated software and practices.
- Strong academic foundation in mathematics, financial mathematics, or statistics.
- Knowledge of derivatives, risk and pricing (at least one asset class is essential).
- Strong track record of technology solutions delivery as Business Analyst and/or Project Manager
- Adaptive to changing situations and enjoy collaborating with global teams in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
- Passionate for solving challenging problems, hands-on, customer service-oriented mindset.
- Fluent English is a must.
- Chartered Financial Analyst, Financial Risk Manager and Project Management Professional certifications are preferred.
