Job Summary

Business
•    Lead and own testing process & delivery for various application streams.
•    Develop automation test strategy & test scripts.
•    Engage with stakeholders including Product Owners, Project Managers, Dev teams and downstream teams.
•    Assess impact of changes, build functional test strategy and plan.
•    Work closely with the application development and dev-ops to improve performance, scalability, and resiliency of the system.
•    Development of automation framework, common tools, and utilities

•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

•    Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.

Skills and Experience

Our Ideal Candidate:
•    Bachelor of Computer Science or exceptional relevant experience.
•    10 years of experience in automation testing.
•    Precise and critical thinker with attention to detail.
•    Fast learner.
•    Strong analytical & trouble shooting skills.
•    Open & trustworthy communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
•    Courageous to critique and suggest improvements.
•    Team-based ethics but independent thinker.

Technical Skills (Mandatory):
•    Strong development skills in Core Java.
•    Experience in API Testing (manual and automation).
•    Experience in test case Design, Review, Execution, Defect reporting & tracking.
•    Framework design and customization.
•    Agile practices (Scrum, TDD, BDD) a must.
•    Continuous Integration evangelist.
•    Familiar with testing and automation tools – Postman, GIT, Jira, Jenkins.

Technical Skills (Preferred):
•    Knowledge of BDD testing framework like Cucumber.
•    Knowledge of containerized and cloud environment, such as Docker, k8s/OpenShift, AWS, etc.
•    Functional knowledge in Payments, Collections, Trade.
•    Experience in API testing.
•    Experience in performance testing using JMeter/LoadRunner.

Role Specific Technical Competencies

•    Core Java
•    Spring framework/Spring Boot
•    Spring Boot based Micro-services beneficial
•    Distributed systems experience, such as ZooKeeper, Cassandra, etc.
•    Service-oriented architecture using RESTful services
•    Experience on middleware technology e.g. Kafka, JMS
•    Experience on testing automation, Cucumber
•    Agile practices (Scrum, TDD, BDD)
•    Continuous Integration
•    Source code version control systems (GIT)
