Job Summary
This role involves acting as a trusted advisor to businesses engaging in cross border transactions.
Guiding businesses through the complexities of FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) regulations and ensuring seamless compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Key responsibilities include guiding business in FEMA matters including inbound and outbound investments, FDI,ECB and ODI and structuring cross border transactions to ensure compliance.
This involves advising on areas such as Foreign Direct investments (FDI), foreign portfolio investments and outbound investments.
Additional responsibilities encompass assisting clients with necessary documentation and filing forms with the RBI such as the Foreign Liabilities and Assets.
The role involves liaising with regulatory authorities like the RBI preparing application documents and assisting with compounding applications for FEMA. Identifying and mitigating risks related to foreign exchange and compliance, developing internal policies and training employees on FEMA regulations.

Understading of FEMA guidelines
Strong understanding of regulations
Qualifications
Graduate with Experience in in RBI/SEBI and FEMA compliance within financial institutions with strong understanding of regulations and analytical and communication skills.
