Key Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for achieving the annualized premium and intermediate income targets of the branch's bancassurance business, as well as individual targets based on the PPIS scorecard.
  • Develop the sales of bancassurance products.
  • Responsible for the sales and tracking of bancassurance business in the sub, including but not limited to participating in sales interviews, completing sales processes, tracking business performance, analysing customer needs, reviewing insurance policies, sharing cases, and conducting sub-branch training.
  • Use the concept of wealth planning, take customer needs as the guide, and study wealth management strategies. Provide professional, comprehensive and tailored insurance planning services and wealth inheritance solutions for PP customers.
  • Participate fully in the bancassurance marketing activities of branches and coordinate with local insurance companies to hold customer activities.
  • Analyses customers’ personal financial situation and identifies their needs in financial services; and recommends life insurance products and investment-linked products to best suit their needs.
  • Implement various tasks arranged by the leader.
  • Be responsible for implementing and complying with anti-money laundering requirements when performing their duties.
  • Comply with the bank's internal process policies and relevant laws and regulations on the requirements for agency sales of insurance.

  • Responsible for Banca business tracking, which includes business performance tracking, portfolio analysis, successful story sharing and outstanding event broadcast. 
  • Work closely with IA and timely update performance of Investment Linked Product (ILP) and market outlook. 
  • Track and ensure Banca license effectiveness of RM. 

People & Talent

  • Provide onsite training on Banca products to frontline to ensure annual 40-hour training required by regulator.

Risk Management

  • Accountable for implementing and complying with AML requirements when performing duties.

Governance

  • Compliance with local Regulators and laws – The role holder would be responsible for ensuring 100% compliance with the country laws and regulations. This would involve periodic review of the existing policies of Bancassurance 

Regulatory & Business Conduct
