Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Cash Management Operations team as a Manager, focussed on processing both outward and inward payment transactions. The role is pivotal in ensuring that payment services are accurate, compliant with legal standards, and delivered efficiently and promptly to both customers and internal parties.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for handling various domestic and international payment types including OTT, ITT, STS TT, OLT, and ILT through the CMO TP systems from initiation to completion. You will become a proficient user of essential banking systems such as DOTOPAL and EBBS, acting as a critical liaison with system technicians and support teams to resolve issues swiftly and enhance system functionalities.
Accuracy and timeliness are paramount: you will ensure all transactions meet established turnaround times, diligently manage investigations and pending transactions to prevent delays, and meticulously verify supporting documentation to guarantee strict compliance with Standard Chartered Group policies, local regulations including those of the State Bank of Vietnam, and government mandates.
The role also includes responsibilities such as verifying customer signatures against authorised signatories, liaising to confirm payment instructions as necessary, managing foreign exchange deals, and ensuring appropriate tariff applications for payments. Reporting duties involve preparing detailed daily and monthly operational reports to support leadership insight and control.
You will conduct end-of-day reconciliations to confirm all payments are processed within cut-off times, and perform comprehensive reconciliations on nostro, suspense, and sundry accounts to promptly address any pending items. Our Ideal Candidate
• University Graduate, Major in Economic and Banking is preferable.
• Good knowledge of banking products and local regulations.
• Good communication skill in both English and Vietnamese.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Client service skill and problem-solving skill.
• Computer/PC skills
• Assist in administrative duties and other adhoc & Miscellaneous activities as assigned by Line Manager
